Jason Sacks
Jason is business-minded tax counsel with 12+ years of Big Law experience, including M&A, capital markets, financings,
and fund-related work (including private equity). He advises with respect to portfolio company M&A,
secondaries, and cross-border structuring. He regularly leads tax support with respect to taxable and tax-deferred transactions involving U.S. and non-U.S. deal parties. He has strong experience with partnership and corporate taxation,
consolidated returns, international taxation (including FIRPTA and Section 892), and financial products.
Jason is known for practical, business-aligned solutions that balance commercial considerations, feasibility, and risk.
He provides counsel across the company lifecycle, including formation, M&A, internal restructurings, and wind-up.
His early career in international tax at PWC adds operational depth.
Jason graduated from law school ranked 4th in his class and started his career at New York powerhouse Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
